Q: Where do I start?
A: You can start by emailing or calling me with ideas and a description of what you are looking for (i.e. – family pictures, outdoor pictures, pets, etc). I will respond to you and we’ll schedule a time, talk about outfits, location, etc. If you feel more comfortable meeting first, let me know and I'm happy to do so.
Q: What is included with my cost?
A: I spend many hours communicating with my clients, preparing for photo session, taking photos, and editing. In addition, I pay overhead costs for rent, insurance, ongoing training and professional memberships, not to mention the costs towards my quality camera equipment to help provide you with the images I hope you love!
Q: I have some ideas, can we get those types of shots?
A: Absolutely - this is your shoot! Depending on the temperament(s) of your child(ren) and your style and desired images, I may pose you. However, it is not my preferred style.
Q: Do you offer prints or CD's?
A: I offer both! Please refer to my pricing, or contact me with questions!

Q: I want to bring my family pet in for photos too. Is this okay?
A: Pets are welcomed and encouraged!
Q: What if the weather is bad?
A: It is up to you. We can either move the session indoors to my studio, your home or another indoor location, or we can reschedule for another time!
Q: When can I expect my pictures?
A: This will depend on the nature of your photos (some photos may require more retouching than others). I provide images no later than 3 weeks (longer for weddings). If opting to purchase digital images, a private, password-protected gallery will be sent to you which allows you to download the full-sized images directly to your computer. For print orders, we will arrange for pickup or delivery.
Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: Paypal, cash or check. Paypal payments must be made prior to the session. Checks can be made payable to Andrea Altman.
Q: How long do you keep my photos?
A: I will retain all edited images that I provided to you for 6 months (longer if I am able). Duplicate discs of your photos can be purchased for $25.
